1. Well log correlation
Quick review to ensure well tops are in the correct locations, if not then a consistent picking exercise will be done.
2. Well ties to seismic
Proper well tie correlation will be done to ensure mapped seismic events are tied to the well bore for complete understanding.
3. Horizon mapping
Fit for purpose seismic horizon mapping will be done on the data.
4. Fault mapping
If necessary, detailed fault mapping will be carried out. Sometimes this needs to be done to ensure a proper correlation can be done on the horizons.
5. Seismic attribute analysis
Any attribute that is apparent or correlates to production will be investigated fully.
6. Depth conversion
Proper depth conversion will be carried out through layer based models, well time depth relationships, or seismic velocities.
